Prepare your mixture using the "Island" method.
1. To a container of water (up to half full), add equal amounts of pottery plaster and flint, one scoop at a time.
2. A small "island" will form above the water and disappear. When the "island" stays above the surface, tap the container gently until the "island" disappears.
3. Repeat point 2 until the "island" remains on the surface. This means that your quantities are correct.
4. Stir your mixture for 5 minutes and then it is ready for use.
